As we are having more and more international contacts, and as we were starting to have non french speakers on our forums, it sounds sympathic to provide a place where communication and information can be found easily, and not diffused in tons of pure french posts.
So welcome here ! I'll try to think about internationalization of our interface, to allow you to have english buttons as well. But not for the moment, so be patient ;) Anyway, feel free to participate !

Easier for international exchange Welcome to english speaking walkyriders. flat six melody is the same in all countries...

English is simple enough to be learned (sorry british people, US mistakes embedded) easily just to exchange all around the world. French is for sure the best language ;) but at an international level the choice has already been done, "a long time ago", for several good and bad reasons. One good reason is pragmatism, it's crucial, so english is definitively the best choice at least for that. Anyway, speaking a lot of languages is the best thing, so you use french in france, dutch in germany, etc.!
The goal of the english corner tentative is to be open and to facilitate exchanges, so it will be fully english, else it has no sense. We can already mix french and english on the other boards. It's also a way to bring people to learn french lol It won't be limited to the Inzane, for sure.

Et merde à Jeanne d'Arc qui a bouté les anglois hors de France!!!
  Sans elle, ce seraient nos amis British qui parleraient la langue de Molière. Au lieu de cela le Plantagenet de l'époque, furieux de devoir quitter le sol français, a décidé qu'il ne fallait plus parler français mais anglais ( un vulgaire patois à l'époque ) en son royaume   Petite devinette : pourquoi plus aucune armée d'invasion n'a débarqué sur le sol anglais depuis 1066? Parce que toutes ont trop peur de devoir y passer un week-end However, the english corner is a fucking good idea

Mais je vois qu'ils sont plus nombreux à jacter le britich ici que devant Jane et Geoff à la Garenne en anglais réel.... Certains ne faisaient pas les malins devant de vrais anglais...Mais bon on oublie. Et moi qui n'en pipe pas un vrais mot je les ai acceuilli à ma table et distrait !...( avec l'aide de Yann , je l'avoue).

Many thanks for the English Corner, its a great idea and we hope to use it a lot to keep in touch with our new friends in France and let you all know of events in the UK. I still have not cleaned the Dordogne and Lot insects from the valk, which I must do before our next meeting at the Ace Cafe in London this weekend. As we have a space on your Forum, may we have Calais back which we lost in 1558....

It seems to be easier to write (thank you to google translation sometimes) than to speak in real in front of english people.  Anyway, we will try sometimes. Congratulations Nico for this wonderful idea
