Got Sundays ride sorted and a vary scenic one it is if I do say so myself, with a very nice midday eats stopover that will actually open for us specially. Having found this place it’s a shame I didn’t discover it sooner, would make a great base for an event, (you’ll see when we get there) unfortunately it being October the cook is away so it’ll just be burgers, no traditional French lunch (maybe next time).


2 rooms left at Archie’s B & B for this “event”, I’m going to be making the final arrangements in September when I go out so cut off date for notifying me you’ll be attending is 28th August, if you haven’t got your name on the list by then it’ll be too late to put it on as I’ll be away till September 30th so won’t have time to buy extra provisions,if you do "just turn up" you'll have to bring your own food.

La réunion avec nos amis britanniques a eu lieu le week-end dernier.
The meeting with our British friends took place last week-end

Côté VRCC France, ont participé Flo, Laurence, Clyde, Fifi, Grand_Lu et Mau77.
On French VRCC side, were present Flo, Laurence, Clyde, Fifi, Grand_Lu and Mau77.

L'ordre du jour était le suivant :
- barbecue le samedi soir
- balade le Dimanche matin
- déjeuner au Harry's bar
- un petit tour à nouveau au cours de l'après-midi

The agenda was :
- BBQ on saturday evening
- ride on sunday morning
- lunch at the Harry's bar
- another ride on the afternoon

Perfect organisation, good BBQ with good food and beer, good ride even with the rain and a good team of VRCC english members : very pleasant days.

Next year you can come to do the same at home, don't forget Mike to come with "fucking Fernand". ah ah ah!!

I Hope that Geoff come back home without any inconvenience.

Made it back OK Fifi, good run in the dry on Sunday. Many thanks to Mick for organising the event really enjoyed the time we were there.

Thank you everyone for attending this event and making it a success.
Next year we will come in the sunshine and include a ride to Fifi, maybe have more United Kingdom riders also.
We travelled from Bethines to Abbeville in rain on Monday and have only dried out today, Wednesday.
Now all home safe.

Next time you will come to France, make a stop at Gerberoy ( it's on the way ). It is antoher nicest French village. If you don't know yet, you will enjoy.

Thank you for the suggestion to visit Gerberoy, it is on the way so will schedule it for our trip next year, it will make a change from going into Rouen and another interesting route south, it does look very nice.
