Hello people.

I have made a new fuel gauge system for the Valkyrie standard.
This new one has a micro-controller to avarage out the fuel level by software.
It is very accurate.
It uses a Motosense gauge.
It works with a pressure sensor on the fuel line.
So no need to drill a hole into the tank.

I am not a company , just a Valkyrie rider who like's the bike en like's to develop electronics for it.

I have tested the trike version on my own bike
and it worked perfectly.
It should work on Fifi's trike without any problems.

Hello Fifi.

I think it will not work on a trike.
I think a trike will have a different gear ratio.

There's also a problem with a differential.
A trike uses a differential.
That will change the speed of the wheels when cornering.
In a corner the sensor will detect a different speed
So a magnet on the wheel is not possible.

Sorry, not possible.....
Only for a Valkyrie on two wheels.

2-Tyre size does not matter.

It is possible to use an other gauge, but it needs to be
0-100 Ohm were Full=0 Ohm.
But thre are lots of them.
The VDO will work also.

Finaly the fuel gauge is finished.
It now has a full metal housing and and a metal fuel line connection.

Thanks for all the positive reactions.
I hope i can make 10 more this year.
They will look even better.
I want to paint the needle orange.
The 2 screws will be real one's not fotografic immitations.
The glass will be curved glass not flat.
But i have little time.

I'm also working on a fuel-indicator.
It will work with a pressure sensor,
so no need to drill into the tank.
But that will be there next year.
I will keep you informed.
